Multiple Choice Island Accommodations
San Juan Island’s best Resort features a variety of accommodation options. In the main resort lodge there are 10 northwest styled hotel rooms. Guests staying in the hotel receive a complimentary breakfast. There are also individual Log Cabins (pet friendly). Other options are a 3-bedroom home called the Lakehouse, and a 1978 Excella Airstream trailer.
Canvas cabins with comfy beds,which are called ‘Glamping’ are available from May 1 through September 30. There are 16 glamp sites. Lakedale Resort’s canvas cabins were featured in Sunset Magazine’s glamping issue. The article noted that “Lakedale blends just the right amount of outdoor camping with a resort-like ambiance.”
San Juan Island Resort for Campers
Have your own camping gear? Camping spots are available for those who have all their own camping gear. The Lakedale Campground provides three swimming areas, paddle boats, row boats, and canoe rentals, as well as fishing in the stocked lakes. (A fishing permit purchase required.) There are three different camping style sites to choose from.
RV’ers will love Lakedale. RV’s up to 40 feet long can be accommodated on the property.
